Our front porch.
Check out Justin's porch rail! He did this today. I think he did such a good job. Just one of our many planned projects for our new house. Go hoob! Harper's room is next! :)

My girl is 10 months!
I cannot believe Harper is already 10 months old! She is getting so big, she has so much personality and she is so much fun! I honestly don't know what Justin and I did without her. We love her so much! Harper had her 9 month check-up the day after she turned 10 months (we're a little bit behind). Here are her stats: Length - 29 1/4 inches (~80th percentile), Weight - 18 pounds 9 ounces (~30th percentile). Her growth is slowing down a bit, but her doc said she is right on track! Go Harper! Here are a few recent pics of our little blessing.
Playing in her toy bin - she crawled in herself and was quite content to play...
...and playing in her clean clothes. Again, crawled in there herself! Such a monkey.
She is in such a good mood in the mornings. I wish I could wake up like that :)
If ever the camera is out, then she is crawling towards it.
This is her 'raise the roof' pose.

Inspiration
My sister found a blog that I think everyone should read - Bring the Rain. It has already brought me to tears this morning. This woman has such great unwavering faith in God, and I desperately want to follow in her footsteps. He is so much bigger than all of us. He is greater than our greatest problems. I recently finished reading The Shack. It is such a great book - about how our relationships with the Lord should be. I realized after reading it that my relationship with Him could be so much better than it is. My sister said this on her blog and I completely agree - having a baby has made me understand how much He loves us. He loves us no matter what, even when we fail Him.
I realize on a daily basis just how truly blessed I am. I won't bore anyone with the details, but before I met Justin I went through a really rough time in my life. I was delivered from a situation that not many people get out of, and I truly believe it was God's intervention in my life. My family welcomed me back with open arms. I met my future husband. We got married and now we have our beautiful Harper. I am where I am supposed to be. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
